Training camp is finally here, and with that comes plenty of heated battles for one of the coveted 53 spots on the final roster for the Baltimore Ravens.
While there are always the obvious choices, each year there are a few surprises which can shake up the outlook of the final squad to enter the regular season.
Take last season for example. On the initial final roster, the Ravens only carried four cornerbacks, but two days later, they cut linebacker Josh Bynes and added cornerback Derek Cox.
Likewise, surprise preseason standout Zachary Orr – an undrafted rookie – went from a little-known roster longshot to making the team.
