Post-bye adjustments create small role in Ravens defense for Arthur Brown

With an extra week to look at their personnel and defensive schemes, the Ravens coaching staff found a place in a new third-down package for inside linebacker Arthur Brown, the 2013 second-round NFL draft pick who hadn’t played a defensive snap since his rookie season.

“Arthur did a good job – played fast and was excited to be out there,” coach John Harbaugh said. “Ran to the ball, made a couple plays – nothing spectacular, but nothing that made you concerned, either. He had done a really good job in practice, and Arthur deserved a little more playing time; and he did well with it.
