Rookie running back Raheem Mostert was in the lobby of the Miami Dolphins’ training facility Wednesday afternoon, ready to put his name on a new contract. He had been waived by the Dolphins a day earlier, but Miami wanted to re-sign him to its practice squad. However, both sides first had to wait until after 4 p.m. to make sure that Mostert had cleared waivers.
Right around that time, Mostert’s phone rang. It was a call from a Ravens’ official informing him that he had been awarded to the AFC North team on a waiver claim.
