When I first launched Ravens24x7.com back in 2003, my access to the Baltimore Ravens was really no different than any fan’s access. I simply opined from my vantage point in Section 101 and from my easy chair in the living room.
In 2004 I learned of the concept of “broker programming” on certain local radio stations. You could pay for blocks of time and offset the costs with revenues from third-party sponsors willing to invest in your radio show. We called our show “Gametime”.
The first station we aired on was WCBM (AM 680).
