The NFL yesterday released the list of attendees for the scouting combine this month and it included several players with local ties. Not only did four University of Maryland players – outside linebacker/defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson, defensive back Sean Davis and kicker Brad Craddock – garner invites to Indianapolis for the weeklong workouts for draft-eligible players, but so did three other prospects from the Baltimore area. Oklahoma defensive end Charles Tapper (City College), Alabama cornerback Cyrus Jones (Gilman) and Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller (Good Counsel, born in Baltimore) will all look to improve their draft stock at the combine.
