News and Notes: Danny Woodhead Could Return to Practice This Week

The Ravens could be close to getting a key piece back on offense.

Running back Danny Woodhead is eligible to return to practice this week after missing the last seven games with a hamstring injury, and Head Coach John Harbaugh said “there’s a chance” the veteran gets back on the field.

Woodhead is currently on injured reserve and has to practice for at least two weeks before returning to game action. If he practices this week, he could return in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers.

The 32-year-old running back has only played one series for Baltimore, but it was clear from that drive that he was in line for a huge role.
