The biggest hit of camp so far this summer was also perhaps the scariest.
Undrafted rookie cornerback Sam Brown de-cleated tight end Daniel Brown, sending trainers scampering onto the field and a couple players saying prayers.
The 6-foot-5, 243-pound Daniel Brown was coming across the field and didn’t see the 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back. Teammates said Sam Brown didn’t see the receiver until the last minute, leading to a huge collision on a high hit to both players.
Daniel Brown laid on the turf for a few minutes, but eventually got to his feet and walked off the field under his own power.
