The Ravens had a minor scare in Saturday’s practice as rookie first-round pick Ronnie Stanley left early and headed for the locker room.
Before you break into a cold sweat, there’s good news.
Head Coach John Harbaugh said it’s just a soft-tissue issue that’s not too serious.
“I’m perfectly fine,” Stanley told ESPN.
Stanley told The Baltimore Sun that he’s sore but fine, and confident he’ll be able to play in Thursday’s preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers.
With Stanley out, fourth-round rookie Alex Lewis stepped into the left tackle spot with the first-team offense instead of James Hurst, who was the backup left tackle last year.
