News And Notes 8/3: Rookies Impress At Stadium Practice

The Ravens held a free, open practice at M&T Bank Stadium and more than 22,000 fans attended the annual event. Practicing at the stadium breaks up some of the monotony of training camp, and the large crowd also helps get the young players accustomed to the NFL atmosphere.

For many of the rookies, the event was their first taste of what it’s like to play at M&T Bank Stadium, and it’s an appetizer ahead of next week’s preseason opener vs. the Saints. The newcomers didn’t disappoint.

First-round pick Breshad Perriman (knee) didn’t participate, but some of the other rookies had a strong evening.
