More Than 1,000 Racing To Help ALS Patients

More than 1,000 runners and walkers will gather along the Canton Waterfront to raise money to help people with ALS, also known as Lou Gherig’s Disease.

The Brigance Brigade is hosting its 6th Annual 5.7K Championship Race, and 1.57 Mile Family Fun Run and Walk.

The race raises money for the Brigance Brigade which was founded by former Baltimore Ravens player and current Ravens executive O.J. Brigance and his wife Chanda.

The foundation helps pay for expenses and treatment for people with ALS.

O.J. Brigance was diagnosed with ALS in 2007.
