OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Wide receiver Mike Wallace isn't expected to suit up for his first training camp practice with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday after he failed the team's conditioning test.
Wallace, a free-agent signing from the Minnesota Vikings, will likely be placed on the Non-Football Injury list until he passes the test. He narrowly failed the test Wednesday and is expected to be on the field over the next couple of days after he passes it.
This isn't a major concern for the Ravens. Other players such as defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, defensive back Lardarius Webb and wide receiver Jacoby Jones have failed the conditioning test in the past.
