Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Michael Pierce has come a long way to make Mel Kiper Jr.'s midseason all-rookie team.
When training camp opened three months ago, some didn't think Pierce was going to make the Ravens' 53-man roster. Now, the undrafted rookie out of Samford finds himself on the all-rookie defensive line that includes two high first-round picks (Joey Bosa and DeForest Buckner) and a second-rounder (Jarran Reed).
A valuable backup for Baltimore, Pierce teams up with Brandon Williams to form a run-stopping wall inside and delivers a push up the middle in passing situations.
