Wide receiver Michael Campanaro will open training camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
The fourth-year receiver was placed on the PUP list Friday when quarterbacks and injured players reported for training camp. Campanaro suffered a toe injury in late May and missed the rest of the offseason program. The Ravens hoped that Campanaro would be able to return from the injury in time for training camp.
“It’s not a serious injury, but it’s a nuisance for sure,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said last month when he announced Campanaro’s injury. “He was practicing very well.
