If there is one thing fans and teams worry about players other than injuries, it's what happens off-the-field. Whether it's an arrest, an accident, or anything of that matter, the hope is they come out of a circumstance okay. We've seen things that have happened away from the game end a players career, like former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Gabriel Rivera. His career ended after only one season after a car accident that left him paralyzed.
Sadly, it even ends in tragedy to such players like Corey Lidle, Thurman Munson, Roberto Clemente, and Jose Fernandez. The Baltimore Ravens just recently suffered the loss of Tray Walker last year, after he collided with a vehicle while riding his dirt bike in Miami, Florida.
