Major Takeways as Ravens beat Eagles 26-15

In what was one of the sloppiest football games I have seen, preseason or otherwise, the Baltimore Ravens were able to emerge with a 26-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles to run their preseason unbeaten streak to 16 games.

The teams combined for 24 penalties for a total of 203 yards. The game was stopped because of lightning with 11:43 remaining in the fourth quarter after a short delay.

The major takeaway from last night was the performance of sixth round pick Trace McSorley under center for the purple and black. Starting for a resting Lamar Jackson, McSorley was flawless in the first half last night going 19-28 for 203 yards and two gorgeous touchdown passes to Michael Floyd and Jaleel Scott.
