Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had no idea what was in store when Public Relations Vice President Patrick Gleason brought him into a room filled with Cardinal red and numerous No. 8 jerseys hanging in a locker off to the side. Jackson sat down in front of the computer, with the Louisville Cardinal logo stamped over the computer logo, and was all set to meet with the media. But instead, Jackson was greeted with a video announcing that his No. 8 jersey will be retired by the Louisville Cardinals.
He thought he was meeting with the media, but we had other plans.
