Offensive tackle Jake Long declined to sign an injury waiver with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday and remains a free agent, he told ESPN's Adam Schefter in a text message.
He passed an exit physical with Falcons in January and another with Dr. James Andrews this week, he said.
Long told ESPN that he feels great, was enthused by Andrews' review of his knee this week, and looks forward to playing this season.
The Ravens weren't comfortable being liable for Long's knee.
Long, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2008 draft, has suffered multiple anterior cruciate ligament tears over his eight-year career and was limited to four games last season.
