The Ravens took the field for the first full training camp practice without veteran leading cornerback Lardarius Webb because he failed his conditioning test.
All players are required to pass a conditioning test upon first reporting to camp because Head Coach John Harbaugh uses it as a barometer of whether they are in good enough shape to make it through practice safely.
Since he did not pass the test, as Harbaugh announced, Webb was placed on the active physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
“It’s always a big deal,” Harbaugh said. “It was a big deal when Jacoby [Jones] didn’t pass it.
