Defensive back Lardarius Webb is officially on his way back to the Ravens.
Webb agreed on Tuesday to a three-year deal to return to Baltimore. The contract came a little more than a month after the Ravens terminated Webb’s original contract. The team noted at the time that it was open for Webb, an eight-year veteran, to return under the right deal.
Originally selected by Baltimore in the 2009 NFL Draft, Webb has spent time at cornerback, safety, punt returner and kickoff returner during his career.
Webb has appeared in 111 games, including 83 starts, and has recorded 436 tackles (14th in team history), 13 interceptions (sixth in team history) and 89 passes defensed, including a career-high 22 in 2013, which tied for the NFL’s most that season.
