OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson explained that he lost weight this year because the reigning NFL Most Valuable Player didn't like the way he looked and how fast he ran.
A visibly slimmer Jackson reported to training camp two weeks ago weighing 200 pounds, which is 30 pounds less than his 2022 weight and 15 pounds less than last season.
In an interview with CBS Sports after Tuesday's practice, Jackson said, "I was fat, to me. I felt like I was fat." Jackson added, "I just saw a video from two years ago [against] the Browns and I looked out of shape.
