Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time of the 11 games this season, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
Jackson is the first AFC player, since Tom Brady in 2007, to win the title four more times in one season alone. Other players who have won the title four or more times in the season include Barry Sanders, Dante Hall, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers and others.
The 22-year-old quarterback has hit many benchmarks and records, all the while generating lots of Most Valuable Player talk.
According to Ravens officials, as of his Monday night debut, Jackson has hit new records in NFL history:
- Jackson is the first player in NFL history to have four passing touchdowns and 50 rushing yards in consecutive games.
