Following a standout performance against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16, Ravens’ defensive back Kyle Hamilton has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week. This is the first time the sophomore safety has earned player of the week honors and almost certainly will not be the last.

Hamilton made a game-changing defensive impact against the 49ers with two interceptions in the first half along with five total tackles and three passes defended.
