The Ravens defense was trampled by the Raiders offense in week 2, a source of concern for Ravens fans everywhere. It was even more surprising after the same Ravens defense handled the Peyton Manning led Broncos offense, which has is more loaded than the offense the Raiders were fielding, holding them without an offensive touchdown.
There were plenty of scapegoats, from Dean Pees for his vanilla gameplan, to the pass rush for staying in Denver, to Kyle Arrington giving away the winning touchdown, to Jimmy Smith having a subpar game, to the defensive line not being able to contain the run.
