Ravens starting free safety Kendrick Lewis suffered a bone bruise in his left knee Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, coach John Harbaugh said, indicating an MRI revealed the injury was “nothing serious.”
“That’s a very good sign,” Harbaugh said. “We’ll just see where it goes throughout the course of the week. He was feeling pretty good today, but those things are hard to predict.”
Lewis' leg seemed to twist awkwardly beneath him while making a tackle five minutes into the third quarter on a 26-yard completion to 49ers receiver Anquan Boldin. He was helped off the field, and Harbaugh said after the game that it didn’t seem serious.
