Keenan Reynolds, six veteran players among 18 cuts by Ravens

OWINGS MILLS, Md -- The Baltimore Ravens took a major step toward trimming their roster down to the league-mandated 53-man limit Friday, when they parted ways with 18 players and placed six on season-ending injured reserve.

The most notable cuts were former Navy star Keenan Reynolds and six veteran players: center Jeremy Zuttah, tight end Larry Donnell, quarterback Thad Lewis, running back Bobby Rainey, cornerback Trevin Wade and wide receiver Griff Whalen.

Reynolds was a long shot entering the preseason finale, and he fumbled a punt return Thursday night, which sealed his fate.
