After Denver’s backup running back Kapri Bibbs suffered a high ankle sprain on Sunday, Gary Kubiak was forced to find a new backup.
Fortunately, the Lions had recently waived Justin Forsett, so the Broncos claimed him to re-unite him with Kubiak.
In 2014, the only season he spent with Kubiak (and one Ravens fans remember well), Forsett ran for 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns. Forsett averaged 5.39 yards per carry throughout that entire season–his first as a Pro Bowler.
Will Forsett be a factor in Denver’s offense with only four games to go?
