Ravens players continue to get a front-row education on American history this summer.
Head Coach John Harbaugh is taking the team to the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. Friday evening.
The trip comes the day after the Ravens concluded their preseason slate with a 14-13 win in New Orleans. The team will have their first “regular season” practice Saturday afternoon and final cuts are due by 4 p.m.
Opened last September, the museum has drawn rave reviews for its display of nearly 37,000 artifacts, documents, photographs and other media.
