OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens made a small international faux pas on social media, and coach John Harbaugh was surprised he wasn't asked about it by the end of Wednesday's media session.
"Nothing about the Queen and the face-painting deal?" Harbaugh asked.
On Tuesday night, the team put out a picture of the Queen Elizabeth II with the Ravens' head superimposed on her face, including the red eye, on its official Twitter account. It has since been deleted, but it still generated plenty of responses on social media.
The Ravens play the Jaguars on Sunday in the franchise's first game in London.
