John Harbaugh agrees with critics on fourth-quarter clock management issues Sunday

Ravens coach John Harbaugh on Wednesday clarified and expanded on his comments regarding the Ravens’ late-game clock management in Sunday’s 25-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

He spoke Monday on the importance of timeouts, but in the face of growing fan displeasure and criticism for the team’s perceived lack of urgency in running the two-minute offense on the potential game-winning drive, said he agreed the drive could have been managed differently.

Harbaugh explained that they have built-in plays that can be run in one or two seconds after getting to the line of scrimmage, and those can be used instead of spiking the ball.
