Jimmy Clausen inactive for Ravens vs. Steelers; Matt Schaub backing up Ryan Mallett

After starting the past two weeks for the Ravens, quarterback Jimmy Clausen is inactive Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, leaving Matt Schaub to back up Ryan Mallett in his debut.

Mallett, who joined the team this month after he was released by the Houston Texans in October, will start in the first game of what will essentially be a two-week audition to back up starter Joe Flacco in 2016.

He will be the Ravens' fourth starter in six games, marking the first time in franchise history the team will have four starting quarterbacks in a season.
