Two weeks ago I complained about a “disappointing win” against the Panthers. The Ravens followed that up with a disheartening loss against the Jags, teaching me to keep my fool mouth shut about wins. Say what you will about the Ravens’ painful, skin-of-their-teeth win over the Broncos; it was much better than losing.
The Denver Broncos may have the best defense in the AFC. They are second in the entire league in scoring allowed and points-allowed per drive – only the Niners have been stingier. Football Outsiders has the Broncos as the league’s #4 defense against the pass, an inch behind New England (and a little ahead of Sauce Gardner & the Jets).
