How a former Ravens coordinator aided Kirk Cousins' record-setting season

One of the biggest problems for Matt Cavanaugh during his six-year run as the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator was the team's inability to develop a quarterback.

Now, more than a decade removed from Baltimore, Cavanaugh has helped with one of the biggest surprises at that position this season just 40 minutes away. Cavanaugh is the quarterbacks coach for the Washington Redskins, who are back in the playoffs after Kirk Cousins' transformation from backup to record-setting quarterback.

Cousins set a team record with 4,166 yards passing, along with 29 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions.
