It seems the Ravens are in the market for a safety and could look to free agency to find one. Jaguars safety Johnathan Cyprien is set to hit the open market. Is Cyprien a good fit and would he be an upgrade from Lardarius Webb?
The answer to both of those questions is yes. PFF ranked Cyprien the seventh best safety this year and the top run-defense safety. According to Spotrac, Cyprien’s market value is a five year deal worth $24,673,338. That contract would average out to about $4.9 million a year.
