Former rusher Bernard Pierce praises Ray Lewis

Bernard Pierce had his career in Baltimore come to a disappointing end after a DUI forced the Ravens' hand this offseason. Pierce was already the odd man out in the Ravens' backfield, but the arrest made it even easier for general manager Ozzie Newsome to let Pierce go. Pierce now finds himself with the Jacksonville Jaguars, hoping to make an impact or even just the roster.

Before all of that, Pierce looked like the next Ravens' major runningback. Being drafted in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft from Temple University, Pierce teamed up with Ray Rice immediately to create one of the best two-man rushing teams in the NFL.
