Former Baltimore Ravens free safety Eric Weddle announced his retirement Thursday.
"TEAMMATES, COACHES and others I LOVE y'all," Weddle tweeted. "We had a GREAT RUN!!!!!"

The San Diego Chargers drafted Weddle in 2007 as a second-round pick out of Utah. He played nine seasons for the Chargers. Weddle played in Baltimore from 2016 to 2018 and was named to three of his six Pro Bowls as a Raven.
