The story of Matt Elam is now becoming a sad installment of a young man's life. A promising career that never was after having success at Florida, and now for the second time in three months, he has been arrested.
According to TMZ Sports, Elam was arrested on grand theft and battery charges Monday morning in Delray Beach, Florida. Elam was previously arrested on drug charges for carrying 126.2 grams of marijuana, and 3.1 grams oxycodone. Currently, Elam is being held on a $4,500 bond.
As we know, Elam was the first pick by the Baltimore Ravens after winning Super Bowl XLVII.
