Former Ravens OC Cam Cameron says he's on mend from prostate cancer

The Baton Rouge Advocate is reporting that former Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Citing an anonymous source, The Advocate said that Cameron, who is entering his third season as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Louisana State University, has received treatment for the disease and is planning to coach during the 2015 season.

LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette declined comment to the paper, which reported that the school will have a news conference later tonight.

Cameron, 54, was the Ravens offensive coordinator from 2008 to 2012. He was fired late in the 2012 season and replaced by Jim Caldwell, who called the plays during the Ravens' Super Bowl run.
