Hours after he was cut by the Baltimore Ravens, defensive end Ufomba Kamalu was arrested Thursday on a warrant for domestic violence, Baltimore County police said Friday.
Police responded to the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road just after 10 a.m. Wednesday for a reported domestic assault.
Officers spoke with a woman who was visibly injured. Police said they determined an argument between the woman and Kamalu got physical, at which point Kamalu allegedly assaulted her. Kamalu had left by the time officers arrived, so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Kamalu, of the unit block of Caerleon Court, is charged with second-degree assault and was freed Thursday on $20,000 bond.
