For Ravens, It Turns Out Grass Is Greener

The Baltimore Ravens have some rebuilding to do for next year, for better or worse, and they're starting from the ground up.

No, really. The Baltimore Sun reports that after 13 years playing their games on artificial turf, the Ravens are moving back to natural grass at M&T Bank Stadium.

“We want to try and see if we can have a good grass field at M&T Bank Stadium,” team president Dick Cass told the Sun.

The new field will be Bermuda grass supplemented with some rye grass later in the season. The surface will be the same at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills.
