With Alshon Jeffery‘s suspension now over, the Bears will get a much-needed boost with his return, just in time for a home game against their arch-rival Packers.
Before his suspension, Jeffery was only averaging 70 yards receiving per game, but looking at Chicago’s offense as a whole, that’s pretty good. Additionally, Matt Barkley has filled in admirably for Jay Cutler. The former USC Trojan has thrown for 720 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in his last three games (of full-time action).
As of Monday morning, Green Bay’s pass defense was ranked 19th in the NFL.
