Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta is determined to fix the offensive line after last season’s overhaul did not work because of injuries and inconsistent performances.
Heading into last season, DeCosta was convinced that he put together a bunch of maulers up front to open the run game and protect quarterback Lamar Jackson in the pocket.
However, that plan began to unravel in the opener against the Las Vegas Raiders when left tackle Ronnie Stanley aggravated an ankle injury that ended his 2020 season. More injuries followed while Andrew Villanueva seemed comfortable after moving from right to left tackle.
