It appears NFL officials have finally gotten tired of the New England Patriots cheating, too.
The league suspended quarterback Tom Brady for four games, fined the team $1 million and took away the Patriots' first-round draft pick in 2016 and a fourth-round pick in 2017 for their involvement in Deflategate.
I bet that arrogant owner of the Patriots, Bob Kraft, isn’t so smug now. Apparently the NFL, after an embarrassing season filled with many public relations gaffes, has finally gotten the message that its image needs repair.
The integrity of the league was being challenged with Deflategate and the NFL made a good move, especially in suspension of Brady.
