Any NFL player or coach knows that one of the occupational hazards of life in the NFL is that job performance is out there for all to see. The customers, so to speak, know which of the team’s employees has screwed up. And given the presence of social media, the screw ups are debated over and over while the alleged perps are vilified in an extreme way.
Those players and coaches know what they’ve signed up for. They know that with the favorable wages and the accompanying lifestyle that comes with their highly specialized employment, that it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
