OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Former Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds was signed to the Baltimore Ravens practice squad Sunday after clearing waivers.
Reynolds was cut on Saturday as the Ravens trimmed their roster to 53 players. The Ravens believe in the upside of Reynolds, a triple-option college quarterback who is making the switch to NFL wide receiver and returner.
It's been a tough transition for the all-time FBS leader in total touchdowns (88), rushing yards by a quarterback (4,559) and points scored (530). In four preseason games, Reynolds caught one pass for 2 yards in four preseason games, and he had one punt return for 12 yards.
