A source told ESPN's Jamison Hensley that the Baltimore Ravens' Marshal Yanda will announce his retirement later this week.
Yanda played all of his 13 seasons as a guard with the Ravens and will be closing out one of the most decorated guard careers in NFL history, according to Hensley.
Last season, Yanda, 35, assisted the Ravens in reaching the NFL record of most rushing yards in a single season as well as the franchise mark of most points scored, Hensley said.
In 2007, Yanda was a third-round pick and was one of the three guards in NFL history to have at least eight Pro Bowls in the position and win a Super Bowl.
