Eric DeCosta Talks About Replacing Ozzie Newsome as Ravens General Manager

The list to interested teams included the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks, (formerly) St. Louis Rams, New York Jets and, most recently, Green Bay Packers. DeCosta turned down interviews, or pulled his name from the search, with all of them.

Now, finally, he doesn’t have to answer any more questions about why. It’s because for the past four years, he’s known he’ll be the Ravens general manager in 2019, but shared that information with only a handful of people.
