Thirteen-year Baltimore Ravens veteran Marshal Yanda officially announced his retirement Wednesday at a press conference at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills.
"I played this game because I love the game. I love competing. I love the teammates, the struggle, and the grind. I love that every single day," Yanda said. "That's why I played. It's for the love of the game."
"Embrace the grind." That's how the eight-time Pro Bowler and two-time NFL First-Team All-Pro summed up his career.
Yanda played all 13 years of his career with the Ravens, mostly at right guard.
