Elvis Dumervil released by the Baltimore Ravens

After spending four years with Baltimore, the Ravens will part ways with Elvis Dumervil, according to former Ravens wide receiver turned NFL insider Steve Smith Sr.

Unfortunately, age caught up with the 33 year old veteran out of the University of Louisville. Dumervil only played in eight games this season. He entered the season recovering from an achilles injury and was never able to shake the injury bug.

He finished this season with three sacks and two forced fumbles. Dumervil had the game-ending strip sack against the Bengals in week 12.
