Edmondson graduate, Delaware linebacker David Mackall tried out for the Ravens, sources say

Delaware middle linebacker David Mackall tried out for the Ravens during their rookie minicamp, according to sources.

He wasn't signed to a contract, though, along with Delaware wide receiver Andrew Opoku.

Mackall is an Edmondson graduate who's a former high school teammate of Ravens undrafted rookie quarterback Jerry Lovelocke, who was signed as a free agent out of Prairie View A&M.

Mackall was also invited to the Ravens' local prospect day.

Mackall recorded 84 tackles (3.5 for losses), one sack, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery last season.

A 6-foot-3, 233-pound Maryland transfer, Mackall is a converted defensive end who played outside linebacker at Delaware in 2013 when he started 10 games.
