Answer: I will admit that salary cap stuff has never been my strongest hold of my football nerd life, though I have you covered here. With Clowney it’s getting to the point where it boils down to what he’s willing to take. I don’t think there are a lot of decision makers who feel comfortable offering him $20 million per season.
